Structure

Abstracts should be structured as per the given headings
  • RESEARCH PAPERS

    • Title

      (should be concise & to the point, clearly conveying the subject of the abstract)

    • Introduction

      (briefly & clearly describe the objectives & the hypothesis of the study)c

    • Methods & Materials

      (describe the methods or research design employed in the study)

    • Results

      (summarize the key findings of the study)

    • Discussion

      (discuss the implications of the results & their significance)

    • Conclusion

      (present a concise conclusion based on the findings of the study)

    • Keywords

      (provide 3 - 5 keywords to aid in indexing)

  • CASE REPORTS

    • Title

      (should be concise & to the point, clearly conveying the subject of the abstract)

    • Introduction

      (provide a brief introduction to the specific case)

    • Case Description

      (describe the case, including relevant details, clinical information or unique aspects)e

    • Take Home Message

      (should be concise & to the point, clearly conveying the subject of the abstract)

    • Conclusion

      (present a concise conclusion based on the case report)

    limited to 300 words, excluding the title

    Title

    limited to 40 words, don't put full stop (.) at the end of the title

    English, clear and concise

Please proofread the abstract for spelling and grammar before submitting it.

The brand names or name of the manufacturers for any drug or equipment is strictly prohibited. Use generic name(s).

Use numerals to indicate numbers, except to begin sentences.

Standard abbreviations are acceptable. Uncommon abbreviations must be put in parentheses and preceded by the full word the first time it appears in the text.

NO IMAGE, TABLE, GRAPH, ILLUSTRATION can be included in the abstracts during submission.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AUTHORS INCLUDE

  • The data presented should be the original work of the author and have not been plagiarized from any other source.
  • Work that has been previously presented at national meetings or international meetings other than NATCON conferences may be submitted to the NATCON 2025.
  • Work that has previously been presented at NATCON should not be re-submitted.
  • For clinical work, it is encouraged that all work should have been reviewed and approved by institutional or regional ethics boards and that all co-authors must be familiar with the final submitted abstract.
  • Concerning basic science work, it is obligatory to provide a statement in the text of the abstract confirming the ethics committee review of work.
  • Avoid personal criticisms of individuals in the abstract. Criticism should be restricted to scientific contents, based on evidence.

Submission Specifications

  • NO UPPER LIMIT for research paper / case report category submission.
  • Abstracts, SUBMITTED ONLINE ONLY, will be accepted. Abstracts sent via mail will not be accepted for review. Late submission will not be accepted.
  • PRESENTING AUTHOR
    Presenting author MUST BE a registered delegate.

    Submitting an abstract DOES NOT REGISTER one for NATCON 2025 unless the payment formalities are completed.

    In case of an exception, the scientific committee will make the decision. All correspondences (regarding review, selection and presentation details) will be mailed to the PRESENTING AUTHOR ONLY.
  • ALL THE SUBMITTERS ARE HEREBY REQUESTED TO GO THROUGH THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY
    Author and co-author details - Full name, affiliation details such as department, institution/hospital, city, state, country should be mentioned properly.

    Contact details (e-mail, ph no) of the presenting author should be mentioned properly as all the correspondences (regarding review, selection and presentation details) will be mailed to the PRESENTING AUTHOR ONLY. Please do not mention any other contact.
  • COPYRIGHT
    Submission of a work signifies the author’s consent to publish (in case) the same as a part of NATCON 2025 proceedings.

    The scientific committee also reserves the right to reproduce the abstracts / presentations made in the conference in print or electronic media.
  • ABSTRACT REVISION
    Submitted abstracts could be EDITED or REVISED ONLINE ONLY. Please log in to your NATCON 2025 Abstract Profile for the same.

    Abstracts can be revised till the submission is open.

    PLEASE AVOID THE RESUBMISSION OF THE SAME PAPER.

Review Specifications

  • All abstracts will be reviewed online by an experts' panel through an unbiased, blinded selection process. Abstracts will be selected on the basis of their medical and scientific content, quality of data and methodology and adherence to specific format requirements.
  • Once selected, the Presenting Author of the selected abstract will be informed accordingly via email.
  • The scientific committee holds the sole right to accept or reject papers, to assign those for an oral or e-poster presentation and to decide on the final slot allocation.
  • A paper can be rejected:
  • If the presentation has been delivered earlier in any format in any previous NATCON conference
  • If the paper remains incomplete
  • If it does not comply with all the guidelines
  • If it is not having expected scientific merit
